October 16, 2008 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #18 Item Title C-18 Teen Truancy Court Agreement and Procedures Issue/Rationale Teen Truancy Court is being developed to address attendance issues at the secondary level.  As the School District continues to address attendance issues at the secondary level a collaboration with Teen Court through the Office of the Clerk of the Court will add a new dimension to intervention of truancy cases before they are referred to Truancy Court.  Teen Court is an already established entity working with juveniles as an intervention before more serious involvement in the Juvenile Justice system.
